Earth Radar 是一款极简的自然灾害感知工具。我们把隐私放在第一位：本应用没有账户、不追踪你、不投放广告、不接入任何第三方分析或广告 SDK。本政策说明我们如何处理信息。

1. 位置

在你授权后，应用读取你的位置，用途有两处，边界不同，我们分开说明：

计算距离（仅在设备上）。你与最近灾害之间的距离完全在你的设备上计算。这一用途下，你的位置不会离开设备。
推送通知（仅在你开启时）。若你开启了灾害通知，应用会把一个降低精度后的大致位置连同推送令牌一起发送到我们的服务器，以便在你关闭应用时判断"是否有更近的灾害"。坐标在发送前已被取整到约 11 公里的网格，服务器只存储这个粗略值，我们不接收也不存储你的精确坐标。你关闭通知即停止发送；卸载应用后相关记录将失效。

2. 灾害数据的获取

应用不直接连接各数据源，而是向我们运营的服务器 earthradar.chenhengxi.com 请求已聚合的灾害列表。与任何互联网请求一样，该请求会包含你的 IP 地址；我们仅将其用于提供服务和防止滥用，不用它构建用户画像，也不与第三方共享。原始数据来自 USGS、GDACS、NWS 等公开政府/国际机构来源（详见技术支持页）。

3. 存储在你设备上的信息

你启用的灾害类型、距离单位、以及最近一次读数的缓存，仅保存在你设备的本地存储中，不会上传。

4. 我们不收集的信息

我们不要求也不收集你的姓名、邮箱、电话或身份信息。我们不使用广告标识符（IDFA），不做用户画像或跨应用追踪，也不出售任何数据。

5. 数据保留与删除

本地数据随应用卸载一并删除。服务器上仅有的记录是推送令牌及其粗略位置（前提是你开启了通知）；如需删除，可关闭通知并卸载应用，或发邮件到下方地址要求我们删除。

6. 儿童

本应用非面向 13 岁以下儿童设计，我们不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。

7. 政策变更

若本政策更新，我们会在此页面发布新版本并更新生效日期。

Privacy Policy

Earth Radar is a minimalist natural-hazard awareness instrument. Privacy comes first: the app has no accounts, does not track you, shows no ads, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. This policy explains how we handle information.

1. Location

With your permission, the app reads your location for two purposes with different boundaries, which we describe separately:

Computing distance (on your device only). The distance between you and the nearest hazard is computed entirely on your device. For this purpose your location never leaves the device.
Push notifications (only if you enable them). If you turn on hazard notifications, the app sends a deliberately coarsened location along with your push token to our server, so it can tell whether a closer hazard has appeared while the app is closed. Coordinates are rounded to roughly an 11 km grid before they are sent; the server stores only that coarse value and we neither receive nor store your precise coordinates. Turning notifications off stops the sending; deleting the app retires the record.

2. Hazard data

The app does not connect to each data source directly. It requests an aggregated hazard list from our server, earthradar.chenhengxi.com. Like any internet request, this includes your IP address; we use it only to serve the request and prevent abuse — never to build a profile, and never shared with third parties. The underlying data comes from public government and intergovernmental sources including USGS, GDACS, and the U.S. National Weather Service (see Support).

3. Information stored on your device

Your enabled hazard types, distance unit, and the cache of your last reading are stored only in your device's local storage and are never uploaded.

4. Information we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, or identity. We use no advertising identifier (IDFA), perform no profiling or cross-app tracking, and sell no data.

5. Retention and deletion

Local data is removed when you delete the app. The only record on our server is your push token and its coarse location, and only if you enabled notifications; to delete it, turn notifications off and delete the app, or email us at the address below.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
